" We originally booked for 2 weeks here, but stayed 3. The staff and management went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The staff who cleaned and served breakfast were a great bunch, thank you to you all. Hot water showers, good wifi and a good tv package, was for us a boon. They happily cooked a fish we caught and treated us to dinner just before we left and if that was anything to go by, we should have had dinner there more often. Its in a great location near to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the main road for a bus to Galle or Mirissa. The beach bars did get a little noisy on a thursday and friday night. So we would recommend booking one of the superior rooms on the front. Road noise is no problem. Also you get a marvellous view at sunset of the fruit bats coming in to roost in a tree across the road! "

We had a great stay with our 2-year-old daughter. The staff are really helpful and keep the hotel very clean. Our room was large and spacious with a strong fan so it didn`t ever feel too hot. The location is perfect just a minute`s walk to the beach - set back just enough so you don`t have to listen to the endless music playing from the beachfront bars and restaurants. The breakfast was nice and there is good security too. We would happily return and recommend it to other families and travellers looking for a great break by the Unawatuna beach.

" Nice location. Easy to walk to beach and restaurants.Hotel Bay Watch was in a great location for walking to the beach and restaurants. Our room was also very quiet even though the street was outside our window on the 3rd floor. Hotel was very clean and seemed pretty new with nice modern bathroom, comfy bed and good AC. Easy trip to Galle from Unawatuna. Nice sunbeds on the beach. Definitely don`t miss the Pink Elephant for some of the best curry we had on our trip. "

" Best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka so far, by a long way. ||Clean rooms, very helpful staff, close to the beach but far evough away. Our room had a balcony that had beach views. ||If I end up in unawatuna again I will book here without even looking around for other places. It was perfect. "
"The driver of the chartered car said that the hotel was located in a Muslim gathering area, and the girls who traveled with it did not like it. The original 2-day room had to be retired. Finally, agoda assisted to retreat for one night. Ceylon`s journey is constantly changing hotels. our dirver told us the localtion of the hotel is all aroud Muslim, one of our friend had issues with Muslim, so we contacted agoda help us change our booking from 2 night stay to 1 night, agoda doing will gave the refund. hotel is ok , the servse also not to bad. but tour in sri lanka with car, is really tired to chage hotel to stay. "
"Hotel facilities are nice and clean. Just arrived at the hotel, the hotel also sent a glass of cold fresh squeezed fruit juice, very sweet. The hotel is very close to the beach. Turn left and go into an alley. The beach is almost 2 minutes away. High cost performance, recommended! "
